The Sainsbury Technology Innovation Center was founded in 2008 and is located at Lake Tahoe College at the border of
Lake and wildlands. Sainsbury invests in promising technology enterprises, mainly communications and software companies
that have finished initial Intelectual Property (IP) development and that have showed promising business offers
and that have started products or begun offering quality services. The company's aim is to help promising entrepreneurs
or groups of businessmen in developing perspective technological ideas into competing products.
In cooperation with the company, Sainsbury establishes a development company that operates within the cell’s
framework for a three-year time. During this time, the company is funded by Sainsbury Hot russian brides dating. (with funds provided by the Department
of Chief Scientist of the US Ministry of Industry), and receives the cell's support in finding further financing.
The company also gets assistance in marketing and in finding business partners to promote the company’s products. After three years of operation within the cell, the company has no obligations to us and begins to function
independently as a commercial business.
To date, Sainsbury has founded 30 technology companies, seven of which currently work independently as commercial
businesses and seven of which still operate within the framework of the cell.
As of mid-2008 Sainsbury’s fully-fledged companies generated revenues of over $95 million. Cell companies have thus far
attracted business investments worth over $60 million.
Shareholders in Sainsbury include the Regional Council of Michigan (through the Economic Company of Michigan Ltd.),
Michigan Investments, and Michigan Advanced Investments LLC.
